Chris & Kenzie's Engagement shootIn January 2017 I met Chris through the study abroad program, OU in Arezzo. We became friends quickly and his quiet shy, nature paired quite well with my loud, obnoxious personality. We bonded over Masterchips (a french fry stand in the town we lived in), and how much we missed Buffalo Wild Wings and junk food back in America. Soon after becoming friends with Chris he told me he was going to marry his girlfriend, Kenzie, and that he planned to pop the question when he got home. Chris always went on and on about how much he missed her and when he spoke of her it was obvious how in love he was. His face would light up like a little kid on Christmas when he'd receive a Facetime call from her. Sure enough my buddy Chris was engaged soon after coming home from Italy!
When Chris asked me to take their engagement pictures I was over the moon excited. When I met Kenzie, she was just as beautiful and kind as Chris had described her. Getting to capture the love between these two on camera was an honor. I can't believe they are getting married soon! I am so excited to see what the future holds for you two! Congrats you two, you both deserve nothing but the very best!

Congrats Mr. & Mrs. Custar! On Saturday, February 24th, 2018, I had the privilege to photograph my first wedding ever. As most of you know, in 2014, I went through formal recruitment and rushed Alpha Chi Omega. The first girl I spoke with at Alpha Chi during formal recruitment was Jackie Bessinger (now Jackie Custar). Her laid back nature and genuine spirit played a huge role in why I ran home to Alpha Chi on bid day. Throughout the years I have looked up to Jackie, so when she asked me to take pictures for her wedding, I was honored!
Jackie and her husband Lance had the most beautiful wedding at Devon Boathouse in OKC. I am so thankful I was able to be apart of this special day. Here are a few of my favorite shots, enjoy! A few weeks ago I did another senior photo shoot. I took my dear friend and sorority sister, Maddie Jacob's senior pictures! Maddie will be graduating in December, which one made me extremely nervous to graduate but at the same time extremely thankful I have another semester! Congratulations Maddie, I can't wait to see what the future has in store for you!
If you are a December graduate looking to get some pictures done at a reasonable price, please feel free to reach out to me! Looking for a reasonably priced photographer for a last minute Holiday card? I'm your girl! I have a few openings before this Holiday season and I even offer an express editing option client's can choose when booking an appointment.
...Or maybe you have your holiday card done and out of the way. Family photoshoots are still a great gift to give this holiday season (especially for mom!) If you're interested or know someone who might be please let me know or send them my way! Here are a few photos from a shoot I did for the Perry family. Enjoy! Jackie Bessinger was the first person I spoke to at Alpha Chi Omega when I went through recruitment back in the fall of 2014. Jackie has always been someone I looked up to in my sorority and she exemplifies what it means to be an Alpha Chi. I'm beyond thankful to have a sister like Jackie and it was an honor to take engagement pictures for her and her fiancé Lance.
There two love birds were a joy to work with. Here are a few of my favorite shots from their shoot! Growing up I played high school basketball with both of Holly's sisters. Holly would come to our games and cheer us on, and was always so excited to be there and support us. It's weird to think my teammates little sister has now turned into such a beautiful young woman. Taking this girls senior pictures this fall definitely made me feel old!
In addition to shooting Holly's senior pictures, I also took her cousin Maddie's senior pictures as well. These two beautiful girls were so easy and so much fun to work with. An early congrats to both of you, graduation will come much sooner than you think. Enjoy your senior year pretty girls, it goes by quick! Here are a few of my favorite shots from my shoot with Holly and Maddie! I hope you Enjoy :) P.s. If you or anyone you know are looking to get high school or college senior pictures please feel free to send them my way! A few weeks ago I had the privilege to shoot my very first gender reveal for momma to be, Nancy VanDenhende and father to be, Khorey Davis. Congratulations to this adorable couple!
I'm so excited to continue to grow as a photographer and gain experience in new areas. Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the shoot. Enjoy! I had the privilege to shoot with two of the three beautiful Thomas sisters this summer. I'm a little (over two months) late on posting this shoot but here it is!
Some people think i'm crazy for being excited to come home. Don't get me wrong, I love it here. I love the fact that i've had the chance to travel to all these amazing places. And I love that I get to wake up every day, look out the window and realize that i'm living in ITALY! I've loved this entire study abroad experience and I would not trade it for the world, but with that being said I DO miss home and I miss it like crazy. I'm sure that after I get home i'll start missing the things i've grown to love here, but for now i'm just focused on the sweet side to this bitter-sweet goodbye i'm about to say in a few days. I miss... My family |
